2 pmSomewhere over the rainbow
Workshop for Children (3 to 6 years)
Let‘s embark on a colorful tour through our museum and hear about fairy tales, legends and myths that have the rainbow as a central motif. On our colorful excursion, we will encounter the Australian Rainbow Serpent, meet an Indian god named Indra, and learn what an ancient Babylonian creation myth has to do with a rainbow. We will travel to Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire, and maybe even come across the hidden gold of an Irish leprechaun. Afterwards, we'll make rainbow flags and learn about the variety of pride flags and the meanings of each color.
