Workshop in the context of Beyond the Future
This course is for people interested in Japan and Japanese who want to learn about the Japanese writing system, the history and current use of hiragana, katakana and kanji (the two syllabic scripts and the characters originally from China).
Viktorija Samrajeva speaks seven languages, of which she teaches four. She studied Japanese at the Palacký University in Olomouc. She is also involved in cultural exchange, podcasts and Israeli folk dance, which she also teaches at the VHS.
The course will take place as part of the special exhibition Beyond the Future. Modern Japanese Calligraphy in cooperation with the Volkshochschulen Wien.
