Instruments from Afghanistan

In the familiar speed dating manner, we invite visitors to enter into conversation with each other through objects from the museum’s collection. Our visitors change tables every three minutes and encounter both new objects and people. You do not need any previous knowledge.

Tobias Mörike, curator for North Africa, West and Central Asia, Siberia, will provide background information about the selected objects from Afghanistan.

In cooperation with KlangBildKlang. KlangBildKlang is a diverse and vibrant festival organised by the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna that will explore and bring to life creative manifestations and interactions of visual and auditory design in around 50 artistic and art education projects from May to June 2024. www.klangbildklang.at
