Human remains in the Weltmuseum Wien

The collections of the Weltmuseum Wien also include human remains. These include mummies, so-called ‘ancestor heads’ and objects in which human material (bones, hair, etc.) has been incorporated. The lecture will provide an insight into a project that aims to ensure the most complete possible inventory of human remains in the collections of the Weltmuseum Wien.
