3.30 pmAnansi and the Treasures of Ghana - a Fascinating Journey for Curious Children
AEWTASS Workshop for Children (7 - 12 years)
Join us on an exciting journey to Ghana and get to know the fascinating world of the famous spider Anansi! Anansi is a clever storyteller from the Ghanaian tradition who shows us the importance of knowledge, community and sharing.
In our story “Anansi and the Pot of Wisdom”, Anansi tries to keep all the world's knowledge to himself - but soon realizes that knowledge and valuable things need to be shared. Just as Ghana has shared many treasures with the world: Gold, cocoa, colorful fabrics (kente), drums and music.
