Children, parents and grandparents hear stories about exhibits and are invited to be active together. Depending on the subject of the museum tour, which playfully incorporates a lot of knowledge about the objects and room themes, participants paint, design, play, and improvise. Our new LesePunkt/FamilyPoint gives young and old a chance to take a little time out during their visit. The area is accessible to all free of charge and we invite you to linger, draw, or browse through the books selected by the education department – even without a museum ticket.
You are also welcome to leave your pictures or messages on the walls.

Are you between 3 and 12 years old and want to celebrate your birthday in the museum? Then choose a topic, invite your friends and celebrate with them in our galleries and in our beautiful Kaleidoscope! Get to know interesting things from many parts of the world, do handicrafts, paint, play, solve puzzles, unpack your presents - it will be an exciting, great party!
